Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup Zursun black quinoa
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
Instructions
  1. Rinse quinoa under cold running water until water is clear. In medium saucepan bring water to a boil. Stir in quinoa and cinnamon. Cook, covered, over low heat, until water is absorbed and quinoa is tender, 15-20 minutes. Do not remove lid or stir while quinoa is cooking. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in honey and heavy cream. Spoon into bowls and sprinkle with almonds.
